Wellness
Every student’s
physical and mental well-being is an important aspect in his or her
lives, and through AFJROTC students gain improved wellness in a
variety of ways, emphasizing the Air Force’s "whole person
concept". Our program promotes physical wellness through a
low-impact yet effective physical training program, and through
common and unique field leadership activities such as Basketball, Flickerball, and
Ultimate Frisbee.
With their physical training and during each field activity,
students improve their physical well-being while learning teamwork
and having fun at the same time. For mental wellness, the overall
AFJROTC program is designed to build one’s confidence, break down
social barriers, and give our students a high level of self-esteem.
Altogether, each of the variables within our wellness program
underlies the Air Force’s Core Value of "Excellence In
All We Do".
