Aviation

AFJROTC offers the only aviation-related program at Crescenta Valley High School. During the calendar year, students can earn the Model Rocketry Badge by building and launching model rockets. Annual field trips to military installations such as Edwards Air Force Base, the March Field Air Museum, and the Air Museum Planes of Fame (Chino Airport) are also highlights of the aviation curriculum. In addition to enhancing their aviation knowledge through a variety of top-notch DVDs and simulation programs, students have the opportunity to receive incentive flights on select military and civilian aircraft during the year.
