Science |
Our
Aerospace Science curriculum covers
the early and modern history of aviation,
air power application and strategy, and
space exploration: this curriculum is not
taught in other classes at Crescenta
Valley High School. Comprising
thirty percent of our program, students
also learn through field trips and
numerous hands-on activities to include
our own aircraft simulator. The
Aerospace Science curriculum
encompasses 20% of our overall AFJROTC
program. |

| Leadership
Education |
Through
Leadership Education, we instill
discipline throughout the program by
emphasizing the Air Force’s Core Values
of: Integrity First, Service
Before Self, and Excellence In All
We Do. Comprising forty percent of our
program, students not only learn
invaluable skills to use throughout their
lives, but they are also given
"tools" to help them become better
high school and future college
students as
well. The Leadership Education
curriculum encompasses 40% of our
overall AFJROTC program. |

Health and
Wellness |
Health and
Wellness is instrumental in developing
citizens of character dedicated to serving
our nation and communities. Comprising
thirty
percent of our program, students improve
their physical and mental well-being
through exercising, mastering of drill
movements, and field activities. All
of our AFJROTC students are challenged and
most meet or exceed
state mandated
physical fitness requirements
which all of our students take annually.
The Health and Wellness curriculum
encompasses 40% of our overall AFJROTC
